Chris brings experience as CEO of several venture-funded start-ups. He co-founded Cooler, the world’s first carbon-neutral online shopping mall. At Red Brick Systems, he led the company from $1M to $40M in revenue and a successful IPO. He also helped to shape Brightware into a market leader in CRM. Previously, Chris was Vice President at Tandem Computers, where he established an industry-focused strategy for global telecommunication, led an international staff of 600, and managed revenue of over $330 million. Chris holds a BA in Economics from UC Santa Barbara and an MBA from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business. He serves as Chairman for ICEsoft Technologies, Inc., a leader in commercial Open Source software.

Frankie received a BA in geology from Carleton College where he studied climate change and mass-extinctions in the field. Versions of this tool have been adopted by the State of California, non-governmental organizations and communities throughout the United States. His primary research interests are industrial ecology, with an emphasis on life cycle assessment of products and services, behavioral psychology and climate policy.
