Senior Sofware Architect
Climate Earth seeks a software architect to build SaaS solutions to help companies meet their green initiatives. This seasoned software engineer will join the team developing the world's first carbon information management system. He or she will play a pivotal role in bringing our on-demand application products to market.
This role is both strategic and hands-on; the right candidate will work with the executive team to drive critical application architectural decisions, codify those decisions in detailed technical design documents and, assist in the implementation of a highly scalable enterprise solutions
Desired Experience
- Proven track record of bringing commercially successful data intensive software products to market
- Brings a pragmatic approach to development managing a balance between the business requirements and the technical needs of the products
- Expert understanding of Web Standards (HTML, XHTML, CSS, XML, XSL, JavaScript, Web Services, RSS)
- Experience designing and developing web application user interface with one or more programming languages
- Experience working in Linux, BSD or UNIX environment and working knowledge of Apache
- Experience working with Databases
- Experience working with applications based on Software as Service a Service (SaaS) model
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Demonstrable end-user interface development skills and understanding of user centric interface design principles
- Knowledge of Web Security
As a founding engineer this person will hold a significant equity stake in the company.
