A note from our CEO, Chris Erickson:   

Climate Earth was created to provide leaders of organizations that care about climate an effective way to begin taking action and measuring progress.

As a former VP of a Fortune 500 company and someone who has led a number of companies as CEO, I have learned that in order to build and execute a strategy one must begin with a view of where the whole organization is now, and also have in place a way to measure progress toward new goals.

How else can a leader set priorities and spend precious cash and people time in the most effective way? And then from there, how can one measure progress and tune the strategy without a proper benchmark from which to start?

For companies that care about climate change and want to take action, we found there is a major vacuum in establishing a comprehensive, enterprise-wide carbon footprint baseline, in a cost effective way. Most approaches require detailed low-level analysis that can take many months and cost plenty. And yet, these detailed analyses don’t really give a total enterprise view!

So, we created our small team with a combination of deep business experience, strong climate expertise, and software knowledge.  Leveraging the latest in climate research and analytic technologies, Climate Earth offers three core services to help retailers and consumer products manufacturers get a real and workable carbon footprint baseline so they can take fast, effective action on climate change.

And because our models are based on economic input-output analysis with Climate Earth extensions, you can start with the financial data you already have available.
